How to Make Lassi

Lassi is a traditional Indian and Pakistani drink that is basically made from curd or yogurt. There are hundreds of varieties of Lassies including flavored lassies, dry fruit lassies, fruit lassies, salted lassies, sweet lassies and rose lassies, and mango lassies, among others. Chaas is another most popular form of drink in majority of the households in India, which is nothing but a diluted lassi with more water than curd or yogurt.





In India, Lassi is also used often in many religious ceremonies, which is made from curd and honey. Different types of Chilled Lassies topped with a layer of clotted cream are used as common offering like tea or coffee to the guests specially in summer and hot seasons. In many households, Chaas is an integral part of two major meals, which is also considered as an appetizer. Salted and spiced lassies have also become extremely popular in many parts of India. Saffron Lassies loaded with dry fruits or its powders are extremely popular in Sindh region of Pakistan and Punjab and Rajasthan States of India. Making a lassi is a child's play, what you all need is curd or yogurt, a blender and different types of additives such as rose syrup, mango syrup, fruit juices and crushed ice, among others.

How to Make Bath Bombs

Bath Bomb is a favorite bath item that is used to create lots of fizzy and bubbling water inside a bathtub. Bath bombs are easy to make and also a fun for giving away as gifts. Basically, a bath bomb is a mixture of a weak acid and a base of bicarbonates such as citric acid and sodium bicarbonate. Bath bombs are unreactive when in dry form but when dissolved in water, it reacts vigorously and produces a peculiar fizzing, which could last for few minutes.





Carbon Dioxide bubbles that generate from the water dissolved bath bombs provide a tickling sensation to boy, which is liked by many people. Compost is nothing but a type of organic fertilizer that comprises of organic materials derived from the plants and other matter that have been decomposed by natural decomposition process. Composting is a process used by individuals and farmers where compost pits are dug out in the gardens for decompositions of plant and other green waste. Composting is also done on large scale by industries and municipalities and other agencies of various cities. It is often said that no home garden is complete with a compost pit.



Composting is one of the best methods of producing rich nutrients required for for the plants, gardening, landscaping agriculture and horticulture. Compost manure is extremely beneficial as a natural fertilizer, soil conditioner, natural pesticide and for addition of vital humic acids into soil. Compost is also beneficial for erosion control, land reclamation, landfills cover and wetland construction. To make a compost in the simplest way, you may dig out a compost pit in the backyard and start filling it with plant waste and green waste from the gardens and leftover food, rotten vegetables and fruits, and peels of fruits and vegetables or any wet waste from kitchen and put some earthworms, which will do the rest of work. Pour some water into the compost pit regularly and after 2-3 weeks, you will find naturally decomposed compost in the pit.

How to Make Sangria

Sangria is one of the favorite wine punch in Spain that has different alcoholic contents depending upon the variations in the recipes. Typically, Sangria is made from a dry, light, fruit flavored, young, acidic and inexpensive red wine brewed from the local regions of Spain or a French wine. In addition to the wine, Sangria may contain chopped or sliced fruit such as orange, lemon, apple, peach, strawberry or grape or any other citrus fruit, a small amount of sweetener such as sugar, honey or any fruit nectar, a small amount of brandy or any other spirit and ice and carbonated soda.





Depending upon whether you use white wine or red wine, and the carbonation level, the recipes of Sangria can change drastically and in many countries, they have different names for the Sangria drink. Sangria has become popular in many countries where it made with various ingredients but in all the recipes, wine is the base, be it a white wine or a red wine. Sangria is also a common drink in the West Indies, where it is known as Sangaree. In several regions, a non-alcoholic variety of Sangria is made from grape juice, lemon, carbonated water and sugar cane juice.
